Cultivating A Generation of Generosity

It’s not just about giving; it's about sowing the seeds of compassion, empathy, and kindness in the hearts of individuals young and old. Generosity has spiritual, emotional, mental and financial benefits.

It's about nurturing a culture where acts of generosity, no matter how small, have the power to transform lives and communities.

Through collective action and shared values, we can cultivate a world where giving is not just an act, but a way of life.

Keeping Grassroots, Grassroots

Keeping Grassroots, Grassroots

Authenticity

With individual donations, grassroot organizations can focus on their mission and stay true to why they began in the first place. This allows them to set goals and reach them without compromising the integrity of their work. They’re also able to collaborate with other organizations where it’s needed and when it makes sense.

Impact

Grassroot organizations are able to make more impact through individual donations because it allows them the freedom and flexibility to meet the needs of those they serve since the funding is unrestricted. The impact they create on a small scale can now be amplified enough for us to witness transformation.

Service

Nonprofit founders start grassroot organizations to meet people where they are and provide they services needed in the way in which they are needed. Individual donations allow them to cover costs that may not be covered with other funding sources. This builds trust between the community and the organization.

Advancing Philanthropy

It’s time for a philanthropy upgrade, and Sow 100 Seeds does just that. Our philosophy is built on creative community solutions. We have a lot of problems, and there are a lot of people who know how to solve them and who are solving them. Our job is to get the money in the hands of those already on the ground doing the work with no applications, reports or restrictions.

Empowering Communities

By giving the community the opportunity to donate $100 one time and become a philanthropist, people are now invested into the work going on in their own neighborhoods, and that’s a great thing. Everyone is able to vote with their dollars on the issues they want to see addressed and the organizations they choose to solve them. Our work puts the power back into the hands of the people, as it should be.

Here, Everyone Is A Philanthropist

Philanthropy is no longer reserved for the rich and wealthy. According to Collins Dictionary, A philanthropist is “someone who freely gives money and help to people who need it.” Anyone can give money and help to people who need it. There is no specific amount that makes anyone a philanthropist, only generosity. That generosity can be in the form of money, time or skills.

THIS IS COMMUNITY.

The Transformation We Deserve Is Here

It’s time for a change. Our communities have long suffered from a number of issues - violence, health problems, poor birth outcomes, lead poisoning, and most of all - a lack of love. Not much progress has been made despite the millions and millions of dollars that have poured into programs and policies. We can’t wait for change, we have to be the change. Since we value transformation and progress, our work is getting funds into the hands of those who know what works.
